Mooncake Festival is also known as Mid-Autumn Festival, it is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th
month of lunar calendar. The special day is devoted to family members and loved once to congregate
and enjoy the full-moon :- an auspicious symbol of luck. Family members will usually indulge in fragrant
mooncakes of different varieties and a cup hot Chinese tea.
As early as a month before the festival, mooncakes and lanterns are offered for sales at most of the Chinese stores and restaurants. For Six Happiness
Mooncakes, quality is our trade mark; only fresh, premium quality lotus seeds and
egg yolks are used for mooncake production :

Lotus seeds are hygienically treated and boiled in a
stainless steel bating pan cooker, until a smooth fine paste is form.

Syrup and flour are blend with a digital blender, until it became the smooth dough.

An advance-encrusting machine is used, to rallies the lotus paste with dough to forms a Mooncake.

A desired mould shape will be slump on the mooncakes when it passes through the slumping machine. The egg-spray activity will take
place before the mooncakes sent for deep bake.

All the mooncakes are require to baked for 25 - 30
minutes; under the temperature of 200 degree C (over 300 degree F), until the
surface turn golden brown.

The mooncakes will be send to a hygienic room for cooling off.

Finally, the mooncakes are individually wrapped together
with an oxygen absorber to preserve freshness and ready to market.
